The product is Regeneratively grown, processed, and packed by members of the Kibale Association for Rural and Environmental Development (KAFRED). This product was introduced to benefit households who promote regenerative agriculture to reduce the use of synthetics that degrade our soils, water, and wildlife; and endanger human health in our community. This is an inclusive, participative, and integrative coexistence model that aims at improving household incomes and promoting sustainable livelihoods.  Buying this product not only gives you deliciousness and nutrition benefits but also improves community well-being and rejuvenates soil health and biodiversity. KAFRED promotes circular economies around important ecosystems, particularly Bigodi.
